William Branham, a man greatly used of God, made a statement in the later years of his ministry to this effect, the great healing crusades will come to an end and following them there will be a great time of teaching ministry, that will be followed by another great move of God. The first two statements have surly happened. The emphasis has been on teaching for the past many years. Signs, wonders, and miracles drove the great healing crusades that swept across the U.S. as well as many other countries of the world. Teaching ministries have now taken the place of the healing crusades, notwithstanding, miracles of healing still occur, but it is not the emphasis of the meetings. The message of prosperity and blessing has filled much of the religious world. Don’t misunderstand me, I am not against prosperity, but neither do I think it is the central theme of the message of Jesus and the Gospels. As I wrote last time, I am not sure the church, as it exists today, is ready for the kind of move of God we may be heading for. All I see in the religious world today is concession on every side. It seems they are terrified to make a stand on any issue for fear they will be ridiculed. It doesn’t look to me like the doctrine of unity in diversity is working very well, at least not according to the latest Pew reports I have read. I personally think the stage is being set for the next wave of the presence of the Father to move over the earth, however, I think it will be very different than what most think it will be. I also think it will be rejected by most of the religious would, just as the so-called Jesus people move was, but it will far surpass anything we have seen up to now. “”Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”

Isa 43:18&19
