Yesterday we drove through a winter snowstorm from Dohuk to a small village called Inishky to pray for a young woman who’d been taken to the hospital the night before in tremendous pain. The higher we went into the mountains to worse the snow was. It seemed so novel to be driving through the snow in Iraq. We made it to the families home and prayed with them for the young woman who said she felt God touch her. She was trembling as she shared that the power of God went through her. We encouraged and prayed for the rest of family then had to head back as the storm worsened. We made back safely to Duhok having had an exciting journey while serving the Lord and His people.
